Rubatex pipe insulation would not be good pipe insulation for steam boiler piping insulation. There is a temperature limit (steam pipe temperatures exceed 200 degrees Fahrenheit). However, Rubatex would be suitable for hot water boiler pipe insulation. Rubatex is flexible and can easily be fitted for T's, 90′s, and 45′s.
